Work...it's for the birds!

Whelp, today Bryan had to go back to work. Enter sad face. We missed him today! It's so much more fun when he's home and can hang out... Plus, poor Fergs hasn't been walked today yet because I can't walk around just quite yet. I got more done today than I thought I would. It's getting easier to put Zoey down when she's sleeping so I CAN get stuff done. I still have withdrawals from her, though...hehehe But, a girl does need to shower once in a while, right? Bryan appreciates it, anyway. Someday, we'll escape The Man and live off the grid, be self-sufficient, and just enjoy our family... Not to get too political here, but Obama is making it to where you aren't even motivated to work hard...seems like the only thing he wants you to gain from hard work is to help the person who doesn't! Okay...I'll leave that alone for now...lol

How about boobies for a topic change? hehehe We met with the lactation consultant today again. I LOVE Paula Snook; anyone out here in Yuma should definitely call her up if you need a visiting nurse. She has really helped with the breastfeeding. Plus, she's really nice and really personable, and we always have a good chat. Thank you, military, for offering her services for free. She helped us with a small problem I was getting frustrated with, and she also taught me how to nurse while laying down. Man...that will be so nice to practice in the middle of the night.

Today also marked a very special occasion: a nap! For ME! Yes, I was able to nap today. Oh man...soooo nice. I usually can NOT nap during the day to save my life...then when I do, I wake up cranky and MORE tired. Bryan loves naps...can sleep for 5 minutes and be good for another 5 hours. Me...no way. But, today was a different story. I feel really good! The most advice I've received is "nap when she naps". I know, I know. I read it, I heard it, I preached it to Bryan...but I just have not been able to do it once since she's been born. Thank you, Lord, for giving me that nap today, though! LOL
