Blasts from the Past!

So, we ordered a refrigerator over a month ago...and it finally arrived yesterday...damaged...after a month-long battle with the store we bought it from (the story, of which, I will spare you!). BUT, in good news, Zoey regained her birthweight yesterday! Yea! The doc doesn't want to see her again for a week; we have been going every two days. We go back in two weeks for her 1-month checkup (and shots, I'm guessing...oh joy!). I have a doc appointment in two weeks, too; hopefully, I'll get a good report and can start working out!!! I'm excited to start running again. We picked a handful of photos from the shoot the other day and have submitted them to the photographer so he can work his Photoshop magic; I really need (and want) to learn that software. We have a great SLR camera (but could use a good lense upgrade). We also FINALLY got the car fixed yesterday...after 3 hours in the waiting area. Our headlights have been going off at their own discretion...sometimes every few seconds. So, driving at night has always been stressful; ya know, who enjoys driving 60 mph down the highway only to have your headlights just go off, leaving you in pitch black darkness until you turn off, then back on, your headlights??? Ugh! But, after $1400, they supposedly got it fixed; we haven't driven at night yet to check it out. Bryan took the Fergs for a good, healthy run in the desert. I'm sorry to say, though, that she lost her pink hankerchief that Grandpa Barnes gave to her 2 years ago. We'll have to her another; don't want the locals to mistake her for a coyote and shoot her!!!
I thought I'd see what pics were available on my laptop from times past...moments leading up to today! We finally hooked up the desktop, but it died. Bryan thinks it's just the power pack that needs to be replaced, so he'll do that as soon as he can; his poor list just keeps growing.
I have to take a moment and thank God for my wonderful husband... If we were in the female version of "Weird Science", he would be the perfect guy we create on the computer...only better. I couldn't have dreamed up a man like him if I had tried with all my might. He's thoughtful, romantic, faithful, level-headed, confident, optimistic, patient, logical...just to name a few traits; basically, he completes me and, together, our synergy is all we've both ever wanted out of a relationship. He gets up with Zoey every night to bring her to me for feeding (and she's on my side of the bed)...he changes her diaper...and puts her back down. If she's awake and isn't hungry, he will read her stories. He tries so hard to have a strong relationship with Hunter despite being hundreds of miles apart...phone calls, cards, our always-too-short visits... He's an excellent daddy. I love you, Bryan!
Anyway, like I said, here is just a teaser amount of favorites from the past...the only ones I have on my laptop; when I locate the external hard drive, I promise to keep posting more. I LOVE going through these pics! It motivates me to scan in my REALLY old pics from my younger days, as well as Bryan's...always a project to be worked on in our house!!! hehe
